Solutions - Soil remediation

Are you the owner of a plot of contaminated soil or are you planning to buy a location? BAM Milieu prepares the soil to be put to new use in an efficient manner. We have a tailor-made solution for every site, including the excavation and disposal of contaminated soil in certain situations. In other, the rearrangement and/or isolation of the contaminations may suffice. The key factor is that the risks of soil contamination are eliminated.

We work quickly, skilfully and efficiently. We possess all relevant certificates (ISO 9001, VCA** and BRL SIKB 7001) and it goes without saying that we are familiar with the applicable laws and regulations.

Soil survey

Each soil clean-up is preceded by a compulsory soil survey. Based on the outcome and approval from the competent authorities, BAM Milieu carries out the required activities. If the studies conducted provide insufficient clarity for drafting the approach and cost overview, we can conduct an appropriate supplementary study.

Earth-retaining structures

There are situations in which the soil cannot be excavated without using earth-retaining structures, in the vicinity of buildings, roads and/or cables and pipes. BAM Milieu has plenty of experience in the use of trench formwork and sheetpile wall construction, enabling us to excavate as much conta minated soil as possible without jeopardising the surrounding area.

Cables and pipes

When carrying out earthwork, it is imperative to allow for the presence of cables and pipes. We have our own procedures in place to prevent damage. If cables or pipes are in the way, we reroute or suspend them in consultation with utility companies. If this is impossible, we will devise another solution.
